In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing cost administration and tracking operating expenses within the plant. Your primary focus will be to ensure efficient financial management by closely monitoring operating expenses, reporting variances versus the budget, and advising the operating team on cost-related decisions.- Undergraduate Degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Work independently and with cross functional teams- Attention to detail and desire to constantly innovate and find ways to modernize financial reporting- Evaluate financial changes from a physical-based perspective- Intermediate / advanced Excel skills and preferably Alteryx, Qlik Sense developer- Proficient in English communication (intermediate; oral and written)**Desired experience**- Proven experience as a Cost/Financial Analyst. Similar financial role within the manufacturing industry is a plus.- Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis- Manage and monitor operating expenses to ensure areas operate within their authorized budget.- Analyze financial data and report variances versus the forecast to the management team.- Approve expense requisitions in adherence to established financial guidelines.- Act as the financial advisor to the operating team, providing insights and recommendations for cost-effective decisions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost-related processes and identify areas for improvement.- Modernize and streamline to improve processes- Support financial reports and presentations for management review.
