Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Financial Analyst in our Reynosa Plant. As Financial Analyst you will provide direct support to the plant controller. This requires accomplishing a variety of accounting and project management tasks, including but not limited to processing and managing journal entries, review and analysis of actual financial information as it relates to monthly financial reviews and forecasts, fixed asset accounting, balance sheet account management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and the development of processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and value of the accounting department. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support manufacturing operations by reviewing many aspects of plant operations, including but not limited to manpower analysis, trend analysis, etc.Analysis of capital projects and maintenance of Oracle fixed asset system.Ensuring compliance with all SOX and corporate Audit requirements.Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations according to Danfoss financial policy.Assist with the annual physical inventory and reconciliation.Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting requirements.Participate in month-end closing and forecast processes.Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.Assist with annual profit planning process.Support and/or participate in continuous improvement activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas programs, Cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve our business goals and objectives.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses these skills:
