Under the general direction of the Corporate Finance Manager, our Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting Finance objectives on key Corporate Finance Projects.
Must be able to effectively and professionally work with stakeholders at all levels of organization. The principal duties of this role will be to support the financial and analytical processes associated with payroll and intercompany general ledger transactions for Corporate activity at Johnson Controls, including supporting system implementations and projects.
Primary Responsibilities: Assist with defining Finance requirements for Workday based payroll projects
Assist with developing and testing Workday payroll Projects or amendments
Assist with the analysis of the payroll and benefits under NA region
Assist with the development of Finance process documentation
Work across departments and geographical locations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded at month end
Assist in the preparation of presentations for management staff
Assist in the creation of new processes and improvements as required in constantly changing environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Due to the global nature of the role, proficiency in English language is a must.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel,).
Highly motivated individual, with ability to adapt to changing environment
Basic knowledge and understanding of Intercompany and Payroll accounting concepts
Team player with excellent communication skills required.
