TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.**What your background should look like**:**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree Accountant, Finance, or business administration- English- Extensive Excel knowledge and Power point- With a positive attitude, strong work ethic, focus on business impact- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines- Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities**Responsibilities**:- GAAP/Ethics Compliance & Internal Control, Front line role includes educating and training to different Depts- Provide training and re-emphasize the TE's compliance programs, to enhance fully understanding across functions, build a better internal control environment- Responsible for Fixed assets controls, administration on Non plant fixed assets- Lead the FA physical count and follow GAAP /TE Policy- Review forecast and FA related reports- Follow up CER submission with owner/spending track and control- As Operations partner to continuously improve the process by standardization/optimization- Prepare weekly reports for DND plant using SAP- Prepare manual GL journal entries, review system generated journal entries and propose adjustment if necessary- Provide support for the month end close process ensuring accruals are recorders and monthly expenses look in compliance to forecast- Coordinate and perform monthly accounts reconciliation, follow up to resolve variances- Perform month-end closing activities, including closing checklist preparation, posting periods maintenance, and GL closing.- Assist to plant Controller to consolidate, and analyze data, including analysis of quarterly trends and drivers, forecast vs. actual- Assist with ad hoc strategic, operational, corporate audit reports as required- Assist with management business and financial planning, including presentations and key analysis requests.Required to travel: NoLocation: Hermosillo**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
