Learn More About Our Company**Job Purpose**:This position is responsible for various aspects of the monthly financial closing process, analysis, and internal reporting of financial result for the business units in the respective location. Through reconciliation and analysis of monthly financial data, this position will be responsible for accurate reporting of the SBU's financial performance in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Manage and perform the monthly closing process including reconciliation of data to GL and analysis- Maintain databases of sales and expense information- Preparation of margin analysis schedules, customer analysis schedules, and variance analysis to forecast, budget, and prior year.- Preparation of SG&A analysis schedules and variance analysis to forecast, budget, and prior year- Consolidate location information for internal SBU reporting- Account reconciliation for various accrual accounts- Assist in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes- Various ad-hoc analysis**Qualifications**:**Minimum**- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Accounting or Finance- A minimum of 6 years of private industry financial analysis/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment- Working knowledge of GAAP- Experience with monthly financial closings- Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and ERP.**Preferred**- Hyperion Financial Management and BaaN system experience is a plus.- Experience in a service or manufacturing environment.**General Job Requirements**:- This position will work in an office setting, expect mínimal physical demands.EnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
