As our new Financial Controller you will develop, enhance, and strengthen financial process simplification, harmonization, and automation. You will have specialized finance competence (treasury, tax) and support and provide analysis to the Unit Finance Manager regarding financial performance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform or organize the execution of the financial controlling tasks as defined in the KONE Financial Control Models.Ensure all tax, treasury, statutory statement, bookkeeping, consolidation tasks and local financial statements are met on a timely and accurate basis and in line with KONE Accounting and Reporting Instructions and external regulations.Act as a back-up point of contact for local authorities.Act as a specialist in the field of treasury and tax.Analyze actual performance to plan, recommend and implement corrective actions.At month-end, provide necessary analysis and support in summarizing legal entity financial results and performance and the balance sheet in cooperation with business controllers to validate completeness and accuracy of both financial and management reporting and forecasting.Maintain strong connections with other Finance colleagues within KONE to share best practices and to understand current and future trends.May lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of Finance professionals to achieve established goals. Provide necessary support for the timely preparation of legal entity financial reporting in accordance with both KONE Accounting Standards and statutory requirements.Perform detailed checks that all defined tasks in the month-end closing process are executed by finance operations partner(s) and KONE Business Services (KBS).Support the Unit Finance Manager in ensuring that all financial close activities have been completed.Prepare/approve relevant judgmental journal entries. Ensure that supporting documentation is provided in accordance with KONE Guidelines.Support the Unit Finance Manager in ensuring that balance sheet reconciliations are completed in Blackline by finance operations partner(s) and are in accordance with the KONE balance reconciliation policy.Perform necessary local internal control activities and prepare relevant supporting documentation as required and defined by global KONE internal controls framework.Support in ensuring that payment proposals are authorized. Prepare manual payment advices where necessary.Provide analysis of FX exposure and potential impacts for a unit and support the Unit Finance Manager in advising business in FX management in the factory operation.HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Master's or bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field.At least 4 years of professional experience.Preferably SAP knowledge.Power BI knowledge is a plus.Knowledge of IFRS as well as local GAAP and other relevant local tax & legal.What can KONE offer you?
