Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager Company: Prologis Position Responsibilities Meet the responsibilities of Supervising.Principal responsibility for scoping, managing and communicating about global accounting projects and participating in all phases of the visioning, planning, development and integration lifecycles.Negotiate with business stakeholders and other members of the Accounting organization to identify appropriate solutions for business problems.Develop a strong grasp of Prologis' business fundamentals and use that to frame project alignment with Prologis business goals. Develop friendly, helpful, effective relationships with the global Accounting team, including executives, managers, stakeholders and project team members.Provide clear and relevant communication to project stakeholders and decision makers.Articulate technical issues to business stakeholders in an understandable and relevant way.Assist in the research and documentation of accounting issues.Ensure certain accounting processes and controls are documented, updated and in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (USGAAP & IFRS).Make suggested improvements to existing processes and assist with implementation.Maintain and improve documentation of existing accounting policies to be compliant with Prologis requirements.Liaise with external auditors.Develop and retain staff.Interact with senior management and management of other areas/functions of the company.Assist in special projects as necessary.Assist with the quarterly and annual disclosure filings.Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements footnotes, and other disclosures (such as operating metrics) that are filled with the CNBV rules.Document business transactions. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree.5-7 years of experience in public accounting (large public accounting firm a plus), with significant exposure to SEC reporting, or similar experience within a large corporate enterprise (real estate and international experience a plus), demonstrating capability managing and implementing projects / processes in a complex organization.5 years audit experience is a must (to include financial reporting and internal controls)
