Freight Audit And Payment Lead

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Freight Audit and Pay Manager to join our logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the freight payment and audit processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as 3GTMS for freight bill management, TriumphPay for accounts payable processing, and TIA for compliance and best
practices in transportation is essential.
Responsibilities Oversee and manage the freight audit and payment process, ensuring all freight billsare audited, processed, and paid accurately and timely. Utilize 3GTMS to optimize shipping operations and cost-efficiency and ensure data accuracy in the transportation management system. Manage relationships with carriers and vendors, ensuring compliance with contractsand resolving payment discrepancies. Implement and utilize TriumphPay to streamline payment processes and improve transaction transparency. Collaborate with IT and system vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, ensuring smooth operation of 3GTMS, TriumphPay, and compliance tools. Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with TIAstandards and reduce risks associated with freight payments. Analyze transportation and freight cost data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and efficiency improvements. Provide training and support to the team on the use of transportation management and payment systems. Prepare regular reports for management on freight payment trends, issues, andperformance metrics. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field. At least +5 years of experience in freight audit and payment, with a thorough understanding of the transportation and logistics industry. Familiarity with 3GTMS, TriumphPay, and TIA or similar industry solutions. Experience managing time and utilizing case management to track and report on issue management. Proven analytical, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience managing a team to execute complex processes and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
