The project was unsuccessful due to communication issues, conflicting time zones, and scope creep. Since then, he built OneSeven and tailored our services to support startup founders in need of high-quality software development.**About You**:- Fluent in English (important)- 2+ years of experience working for startups- Excellent communication skills- Strong mentoring skills- Agile + Scrum Methodology experience- Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and problem solve- Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team.- Ability to research as you work- Clear written communication, and the ability to quickly identify and share important discoveries and problems in your work with others on the team- The ability to be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment- The desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team and help shape process, practice, and operations- You will need to provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service**Responsibilities**:- Share knowledge of the best software development practices- Expertise in writing and integrating REST APIs- Experience working with Linux OS is a must.- Experience with frontend tech is preferred (Angular).- Assist the Product Strategy team with initial app development research. This includes creating a backlog, working on database architecture, and working on time estimates and version release plans.- Work with clients after their project has been completed and launched to debug and provide support.**Requirements**:- At least 2 years of experience building high-performance systems with Rust/Go or similar language- Good working knowledge of Rust.- Experience with Python is preferred- Experience with Angular is preferred- Experience with Typescript is preferred- Experience in both SQL and NoSQL(DynamoDB/MongoDB) is required- Experience with Terraform is preferred- Good working knowledge of AWS or GCP- GIT + Github Experience**Benefits/Compensation**:- 100% remote work- Contract-based employment- Starting at $2000 - $4000 USD depending on qualifications- Unlimited PTO- Flexible work schedule- There are currently NO formal benefits packages available (health insurance, retirement plans).
