**A Snapshot of Your Day**:
As part of Service Engineering, leading technical clarification support for Gas Turbine components. Technical support includes ownership of risk assessments for hot side parts in operation of gas turbines and provide direction to our commercial teams for outage preparation.
**How You'll Make an Impact**:
- Assess the degradation of turbine hardware and communicate risk back to commercial teams.
- Document component damage and feedback service experience to design engineering.
- Review outage plans and scope for component hardware installed in unit and provide recommendations for exchange of hardware.
- Direct impact on Service business success by improving customers' ability improve engine reliability.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA's) on components when they don't meet life expectancy.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing product and process deviations.
- Interfaces include, but are not limited to, Manufacturing, Field Service, Procurement, LTP, Open Market, Fleet, Design Engineering, Internal and External Customers.
- Gain in-depth Manufacturing experience on repair processes.
- Grow network in Gas Services Engineering and Manufacturing Organizations.
- Develop or strengthen project management skills.
- Potential for direct external customer interaction!
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering or related. 8+ years of gas turbine, outage, and field service experience is required.
- Proficient at collaborating with diverse groups. Ability to effectively work with customers and manufacturing shops.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in gas turbine components, a plus!
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
