General Accountant

GENERAL AND TAX ACCOUNTANTDESCRIPTION:Full-time position in office, in Cancun computing and filing the taxes and finances of Iron Republic Gym. Specifically working with employee taxes/withholdings/Social security benefits and Mexican business taxes, as well as, analyzing cash flow, product sales, and memberships.Hours: Mon-Fri 9Am-6PM**Salary**: $1250-$2000 USD (Depending on experience)Job duties:- Creating reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements- Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting daily, weekly, and monthly financials- Collecting cash deposits- Presenting data to Company Owners- Maintaining accurate financial records- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies- Computing taxes- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting**Accountant Minimum Requirements**:- **Advanced English**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.- More education or experience may be preferred.- Special licenses or certification may be required.- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.- Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.- Ethical and Trustworthy.- Strong attention to detail.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 77500, Cancún, QRoo.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- Advanced English (preferred)
