Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/a General Manager located in Ciudad Juarez Chih.
Reporting to the VP, Operations, the General Manager role involves planning, directing, and controlling all manufacturing activities within the company. Coordinates operating activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives. Additional duties involve the estimation of manufacturing capacity, production and materials control, warehousing and site facilities, maintenance, industrial engineering, and other manufacturing support activities.
What a typical day looks like:
- The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing the site to ensure business development growth and the attainment of profit and operations goals.
- Accountable for assessment of existing and potential markets and developing and maintaining strategic alliances with key customers.
- Will regularly interact with executives and major clients. Interactions normally will involve influencing and/or persuading customers and negotiations.
- This leader should possess demonstrated positive human relations and leadership skills that are effective at all levels of the organization.
- Direct execution and develop the necessary functional and process competencies to deliver customer solutions in a rapid response time frame at the lowest possible costs.
- Functional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to Engineering, Procurement, Materials Management, Quality, Warehousing and logistics, Business Excellence, cross functional Human Resource and Financial responsibility.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires _BA/BS/ MBA _in a related field.
- Good English language skills required (written and verbal).
- Experience as a General Manager, in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in End-to-End manufacturing processes
- Experience in refurbish and reverse logistic.
- P&L ownership experience
- Experience manages operations and processes within budget.
- General and senior management skills
- Successfully manage a diverse group of employees.
- Build and lead successful teams.
- Achieve targets in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
- Build and nurture trust with teams, customers, and suppliers.
