.**Description**This position is responsible for Project Management of infrastructure projects such as road construction, road rehabilitation, modifications of intermodal and automotive terminals to improve operation.Works on a variety of issues where analysis requires evaluation of multiple factors, including business objectives and trends. Adapts plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges within a functional area; defines department's operating standards. Translates the business unit's vision into plans and guides execution. Plans and prioritizes work to meet department commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities. Manages the progress toward stated goals and execution of corporate policy. Manages professional teams comprised of individual contributors and/or supervisors. Participates in the interview and selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance, and is engaged in performance management. Provides timely and constructive coaching and feedback; develops staff and provides challenging opportunities. Reports to a people leader at a higher career level.**Accountabilities**- Records budget control by means of tables that are updated daily with charges to the project and subsequently with a monthly update, comparing it with the actual expense charged in SAP, to ensure that this does not generate charges that do not correspond to the project and the purpose Controlling the budget will not go beyond what is allowed and this also helps if the project requires an additional budget to make the request in advance, avoiding affecting the development of the project.- Plans through work schedules, analyzing activities based on company need and work processes, these schedules are reviewed weekly, serving as a reminder of next week's commitments and thus work on Coordinate all participants involved in the project to avoid delays in project delivery to operations.- Controls supplies and movement of materials through processing requests to launch and follow-up with the purchasing area to obtain materials on site at the time that is mainly required to avoid delays in work and possible claims in downtime by the contractor.- Carries out the quality control of the works to follow the specifications for the construction of the company and based on the specifications of the SCT.- Manages the weekly report on the progress of the work through established formats that indicate the percentage of progress of the various project activities, including photos. It also indicates the state of the weather here during the week and the reasons for delays at work in case it was probable for the Director of the area.- Exemplifies KCS Vision, Values, and Culture in each and every interaction with team, clients, and stakeholders
