.**Role Summary**:This position will support the factory performance testing of centrifugal pumps worldwide. They will develop, maintain, and drive standardization of hydraulic testing protocols and practices. They will drive to reduce the discrepancies between testing locations, eliminate questions regarding data validity, and improve response time to troubleshoot issues. In addition, they will work with Global Technology and Engineering Services to develop and maintain a global test database of recorded data.**Essential Responsibilities**:- Drive a culture based on Flowserve's values and behaviors: people, safety, integrity, innovation, ownership and excellence.- Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance through implementation of rigorous design control procedures, protocols and testing methods.- Foster cooperation between product engineering, quality, and order engineering departments with respect to testing centrifugal pumps.- Formalize and document corporate standards and methods for hydraulic testing, data calculations, and standardize test loop setup and measurement techniques.- Work with all departments to incorporate these standards globally and ensure they are followed.- Through adherence to engineering standards and processes, this engineer will perform troubleshooting and detailed reviews of hydraulic components to help support on time delivery and quality.- Manages multiple projects involving complex designs and components, including oversight of support resources, and seeking guidance from technical specialists.**Qualifications/Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering- Knowledge of mechanical design including fluid dynamics, mechanics of materials, drawing and machining practices, and modern manufacturing techniques- In depth knowledge of centrifugal pump design and experience troubleshooting and solving production level non-conformance issues.- 10+ years of engineering experience with laboratory testing of turbomachinery with experience of large centrifugal pumps used in the power, desalination, Oil and Gas, and/or chemical/GI industries.- Minimum of 15 years total industry experience- Knowledge and understanding of 2D and 3D CAD drafting and modeling.- Extensive knowledge of the industry standards and test tolerances, Industry standard requirements, testing methodology and process as well as production methods, foundry processes, inspection methods (dimensional and nondestructive examination), etc.- Strong and effective interpersonal skills- Good organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple and conflicting priorities.- Accountability and execution for completing work timely- Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented environment- Willingness to travel up to 25%.**Req ID** : R-2544EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans
