Senior Solutions Consultant – Treasury & Capital Markets The Global Solutions Consultants (GSC) group works with various Finastra teams to ensure that all pre-sales activities are executed to the highest possible standards and ensure that all proposals provide a compelling value proposition and truly meet the customer's needs. The members of the Global Solutions Consultants group have a wide range of both business and technical skills and competencies, are highly motivated and drive best practice approach to all pre-sales activities, including discoveries, customer facing demonstrations, customer workshops, RFP management and proposal reviews. The GSC Group will always act as the bridge between the bank's requirements and Finastra's Treasury and Capital Markets product offering, and is seen within Finastra and these financial institutions as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the areas where we interact.
What will you contribute?
As a Global Solutions Consultant within the Treasury and Capital Markets line of business, you will have a proven track record in understanding or having performed Front, Middle or Back Office processes (trading financial instruments, understanding position management, risk, sensitivities, trade lifecycle, settlement, clearing, accounting, and other operational aspects) with direct experience having worked in a Financial Institution or Fintech, ideally including one or more of Finastra's core Treasury & Capital Markets Applications (Kondor, Opics, Summit, Risk), and will have domain knowledge in the Latin American Markets (focusing on Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean).
You will be supporting the Sales organization to prove the value of our solutions to our customers through expert consulting and client-facing engagements. You will develop a reputation for deep product and domain knowledge and become a trusted adviser for clients and sales alike. As a TCM industry SME, you will provide product strategy insights and assist in identifying whitespace in the TCM landscape. In this role, you will support strategic account reviews, Sales Development Reps, Account Executives and Sales Executives with upsells, renewals, new contracts and provide guidance on pricing, along with identifying product growth opportunities.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Client-facing presentations: lead client-focused discovery and solutioning, based firmly upon value-led understanding and industry-informed knowledge of our client's needs. Engagements range from discovery to multi day proof of concept workshopsProduct presentation readiness: contribute to informative, on-brand white papers, presentation decks, client facing resources, videos and other material that ensures our clients understand why they should choose FinastraInternal knowledge sharing: you will participate in internal knowledge sharing with your colleagues with online presentations on industry-related topics. This will leverage client presentation skills and remote engagement experienceCollaboration: Global Solution Consultant can expect to coordinate, challenge, influence and otherwise engage Product Management, Global Services, Sales, Partner teams, Solution Lead teams and other key stakeholders in Treasury and Capital Markets. You will develop your professional network within Finastra and its Partners, provide product strategy insights and assist in identifying whitespace in the Treasury and Capital Markets spaceIntegration: Integration is extremely important and you will be responsible for learning the integration between the Finastra Treasury and Capital Markets platforms and third party core processes, be able to explain how the integration works and support the Proposal team with answering RFP questionsRequired Experience and Skills The successful candidate is required to demonstrate:
Strong client-focus and impeccable professional integrityEnglish and Spanish proficiency (Required), Portuguese (plus)Strong knowledge of Treasury and Capital MarketsCross asset experience, including fixed income, foreign exchange, both exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives with 5 to 7 years of experience with banks, technology providers or consulting firms, including one or more of Finastra's core Treasury & Capital Markets Applications (Kondor, Opics, Summit, Risk) is a plusExperience in the selection and implementation processes of a core treasury and capital markets solution is a distinct advantageExperience in financial service software consulting or pre-sales support, as the successful candidate will make a business impact as soon as possibleStrong analytical skills & understand current business / industry including relevant regulations, business drivers, evolving business needsSelf-driven, self-taught individual with strong motivation to excel in identified pursuitsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written); needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.Ability to travel as needed (up to 75%)Must be curious about innovation and Fintech ecosystem, willing to learn and developTeam player spirit is essentialEDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline, advanced degree is desirable or equivalent experienceFormal training in presentation skills preferred
