Significant effort has already been made towards the WPB strategy to deliver exceptional products, service, and experiences to our customers.As part of WPB, the Head of Digital Tech Americas will act as a support to more than one other value stream across the organization. They provide shared, core and common capabilities and components which value streams can consume to achieve customer outcomes. Enabling WPB to offer our customers state of the art digital functionality - Bank in your pocket: evolving the current set of digital platforms and ecosystems into an entirely new realm of highly connected, contextualized digital experience to support variety of channels and devices, modalities across customer and colleague journeys - enabling the bank of the future.The role will be responsible for the delivery of capability across markets to, source data in a standard manner, route data in appropriate format and channel and operate on data with custom machine learning or external packages to enable real time interaction with customers across multiple digital deliveries and channels, whether initiated by customer or the bank.The Head of Digital Tech Americas will be accountable for:- Mapping the technology capacity required to deliver Value Stream outcomes.- Identifying external technical dependencies to other Value Streams and Sub-Value Streams- Leveraging appropiate technologies and capabilities for delivery- Identifying and raising technology platform work for VS Priorities- Supporting Technology stack operationally for anything that impacts the customer experience digitally for LATAM and US region.Requirements**Knowledge & Experience Qualifications**- Outstanding Technology leader experienced in driving strategic change in a matrix environment.- Strong background in transformation, portfolio management, risk, good judgment, process and delivery focused.- Strong leadership, stakeholder and people management skills, able to navigate across structures in complex business organisations.- Proven ability to work across multi-disciplinary and diverse work environments.- Leading and directing executive and non-executive work groups and effecting change through people in a large matrix organization- Strong commercial orientation, track record of balancing risks versus rewards and maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business. Preferably having managed an international P&L- An entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and "root causes" and drive business action planning to deliver solutions
