.PURPOSEESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Support the SVP and Director of HR in aligning organizational goals and strategic plans.- Assists with driving Culture & Engagement activities on a local and regional level to ensure programs and events are aligned with company values and philosophy.- Build and maintain influential relationships by being a trusted, consultative business partner with management and serve as an employee advocate.- Collaborate with line leaders to help shape the business strategy, conduct periodic organizational diagnoses to determine which capabilities are most critical, assist and deliver HR practices to accomplish strategy with an emphasis in Mexico.- Support all local employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations (initial interviews & fact gathering); maintain regular tracking for issues/concerns and handle inquiries from employees or managers.- Advise and inform on Mexico Labor laws including rolling out new objectives surrounding emerging Mexico labor practices.- Manage employee contracts including preparing, communicating and filing with appropriate parties and agencies.- Support the goals of the department through policy-reinforcement as applicable in areas such as the employee handbook, HR procedures, and HR forms; ensure they are current, in compliance with local laws and regulations and are consistently administered and followed.- Support Total Rewards center or excellence with benefits enrollment at facility level.- Perform worker's comp intake processing for any injury; support applicable employee leave of absence/return to work administration at facility level (advising employees on process, completing necessary onsite paperwork, etc.).- Provide counsel and support on matters and issues relating to employee concerns/questions and human resource functions.- Respond to leader questions and requests promptly to provide helpful information, point them to appropriate self-service tools.- Help further the deployment of various employee development programs.- Manage onsite and regional employee relations matters, escalate internal investigations to Senior HR Management. Advise managers and assist with drafting performance improvement plans and corrective action forms.- Counsel Managers on performance management and talent issues and direct best course of action.- Support all lines of business by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives.- Oversee programs administered by the HR department; partner with other Regional HR Business Partners and Recruiting on various corporate initiatives to ensure corporate programs are successfully implemented and administered.- Promote training and development initiatives and drive compliance which may include hosting workshops, drafting content, and LMS reporting.- Assist with updating HR communication pieces as needed throughout the year to stay relevant and current
