Experience what's next at Avnet!Job Summary:As a member of the HR Service Center, this role is responsible for Labor Relations, Policy Management and Training. Partnering with the HR Service Center, the Center of Excellence (COE) and other area functions to support people leaders in the business, functional organization and/or geography to drive business success through people development.Principal Responsibilities:Manages escalations and addresses workplace issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment to promote employee satisfaction and productivity.Support and represents the company in employment law legal hearings and procedures.Serves as a partner in the creation, implementation, communication, and regular updating of company policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with business goals.Partner with COE's to host training sessions such as new hire orientations, leadership development and presenting HR policies and procedures to employees.Utilizes data analytics, employee feedback, etc. to analyze business challenges, HR programs and processes to identify improvement opportunities.Serves as a business partner and change agent.Partner and engage with COE HR functions to collaboratively implement HR programs and policies.Participates in or leads big and small HR projects.Participates in roll-outs of company-wide HR initiatives.Applies governmental regulations to the development of HR programs.Other duties as assigned.Job Level Specifications:Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.Develops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy
