Further details will be detailed at Interview Stage.**HR Risk Finance Manager****Role Purpose**:- Execution of the operational risk an internal control framework in HR.- Undertake Internal Control activities to ensure an adequate risk management through operational risk framework implementation.- Provide assurance that line management across the entities fully consider and consistently implements and execute the internal control framework.- Perform the Risk Control Assessment in HR**Principal Accountabilities**:- Perform internal control reviews and ensure minimum standards of internal control commensurate with the scale and nature of operations- Report on the adequacy of the internal control environment and on compliance with regulatory requirements.- To maintain an effective internal control framework in HR**Key activities**- Monitoring of action plans progress against target, overdue and closed actions.- Tracking and validating implementation of recommendations (internal and external audit, compliance and regulatory reports etc).- To coordinate some internal control reviews based on business unit risk & control assessments.- Assess and report on the adequacy of internal control environment across HR.- Analyze and register loss events, as well as implementing actions to prevent unexpected losses.- To establish consistent interaction with business management of operational risks and controls.**Major challenges**- To establish consistent interaction with business management of the HR entities assigned.- To assist internal, external and regulatory audits in HR.- Manage some complex issues and develop resolutions where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.- Maintain leading-edge knowledge of risk and control issues.- To ensure that operational processes are operating and that a robust internal control environment is in place.**Requirements**:**Knowledge & Experience**- Qualifications in Risk management control self assessment, related field or equivalent experience, professional certification.- Written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, lateral thinking and interpersonal skills.- Good understanding of the business, risks and related controls within areas of responsibility.- Strong sense of commitment to the project.- Strong understanding of modelling techniques and analytics in respect of operational Risk.- Professional certification (s) preferred.- Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines.If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with operations in 64 countries and territories
