Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, is headquartered in Plymouth, MI, and operates more than 20 facilities with about 4,700 employees across the Americas.**Responsibilities**:- Implement and administer the local HSE management-system.- Giving support regarding statutory HSE and Freudenberg HSE requirements.- Develop and propose objectives, targets and report management on progress in achieving them.- Conducting HSE inspections / audits and assessments on plant installations, technical equipment and HSE prevention measures.- Supporting the accountable functions in training employees to carry out risk assessments.- Tracking HSE incidents and provide measures to avoid similar events.- Developing training-concepts and instruction methods for employees about HSE matters.- Promoting and supporting a "positive" site safety culture.- Close corporation with corporate HSE function, works doctor and authority HSE related parties.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience.- 4 Specified Years of Industry-relevant HSE professional experience- Relevant ISO 14001, Lead Auditor, Clean Industry, Safety Industry and HSE related certifications, HSE system experience, and risk Assessment, Crisis Management and SPTS experience.- Advance English language skills.- Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.- Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers' needs and expectations.
