.The **HR Business Partner Intern** will get to understand different HR disciplines, develop skills in human resources, understand HR processes and practices, and learn how human resources professionals' partner with functional leaders throughout the organization to achieve talent and business results.This internship is an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources and collaborating with HR teams across the Americas (USA and Mexico).The **HR Business Partner Intern will** (not limited to):- Assist the HR Business Partner team with daily administrative operations such as answering general HR questions, responding to ad-hoc requests and other talent initiatives as needed.- Work on assigned projects related to Human Resources- Prepare, draft, and finalize infographics, presentations, and job aids for HR and internal communication.- Collaborate cross-functionally with the entire HR team to understand areas of process improvement and develop ideas and materials (i.E. onboarding, streamlining processes, rewards, and recognition, etc.).- Work closely with our Business Inclusions Groups to hear out needs, plan and organize ideas and others that impact our Culture and attend to our Global Business Inclusion Group meetings.- Plan and organize HR and Employee Experiences events working with the Facilities team, the Business Inclusions Groups and others.- Research and review possible and actual vendors to look out for employee discounts and possible merchandise or services that we can leverage.- Propose and execute Well Being and DEI ideas as well as participate in Global meetings and initiatives related to these topics.**Qualifications**:- Currently enrolled as a student of Organizational Psychology or any business-related bachelor's degree.- Familiarity with basic HR processes and general knowledge is a plus.- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Canvas and PowerPoint.- Advanced English level.- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week between 8 AM - 5 PM Monday - Friday and 2 days at the office at least.**Skills & Abilities**:- Excellent critical thinking/problem-solving skills.- Demonstrates effective research tactics; good planning and organizing skills.- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.- Demonstrates a strong ability to embrace and adapt to change.- Takes initiative and showcases curiosity.- Ability to make recommendations to improve business practices and processes.- Ability to execute and complete assigned projects and tasks.- Strong follow-up skillset.- Strong attention-to-detail skillset.**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
