Come join our team as a Human Resources Specialist! This **part-time** position will be working 24 - 28 hours weekly. It is **primarily remote,** but you need to be within driving distance of our office in Monterrey to attend meetings occasionally.
You will act as a key player in the HR team, providing support and guidance on a wide range of HR issues. The Human Resources Specialist will ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, company policies and procedures, and manage various HR functions, such as onboarding, electronic employee personnel files, and payroll.
**_ What are your key functions?_**
- Process new hire, status change, and termination paperwork
- Oversee the employee onboarding process
- Coordinate the setup process of new hires with iTOS, ensuring a smooth integration into their system
- Accurately process payroll, including deductions, and applicable withholdings, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining confidentiality of employee information
- Conduct and manage background checks and drug screens for new hires, ensuring that all screening processes are conducted in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist the HR Manager with complex or sensitive employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, ensuring timely and effective resolution
**_About You:_**
- Minimum of one year of human resources experience
- Post-Secondary degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline (with a focus in Human Resources)
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of iTOS, MS Office and HRIS systems
- **Fluent English is a must**
**_What is Shift/Pay/Perks_**
- Tuesday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm
- 20K - 25K monthly
- Monthly stipend for electricity and internet
