**Human Resources Generalist**
Coordinates the design, development, and implementation of effective Human Resources programs and policies. Support the HR function and team for the region (Canada and Mexico).
**Responsibilities**:
- Updates and maintains all HR statistics and reporting.
- Supports employee relations issues. Provides consultative coaching and counseling services to employees.
- Advises leaders and employees on creating an engaged and productive workplace, including promoting compliance with all Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Helps recruiting activities for levels of professional and support staff. Manages administrative activities associated with hiring, including Onboarding.
- Supports training and development programs, including organizational training needs and implementation of training courses for management and crew. Makes sure training is recorded as required by law (e.g. STPS).
- Coordinates compliance with HR process and programs in the local office (e.g. Health and Safety, NOM035, etc.). Interacts with HR legal. Supports compliance with HR processes for all the region.
- Manages the day-to-day operations associated with the administration of benefits. Supports the liaison between third party vendors for assigned programs.
- Provides Human Resources communications support, including the drafting, editing and delivery of Human Resources communications.
- Assists regional HR team with miscellaneous tasks as needed. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3-4 years related work experience in Human Resources, preferably in a global organization with a multi-country scope.
- Bachelor's degree. Any other education in HR is a plus.
- Advanced in English language skills.
- Strong data analytics skills, including medium to advance knowledge of Excel.
- Good communication skills with emphasis in writing both languages (Spanish and English).
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, detail orientation and problem solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and remote environment.
