Our expertise and global scale enable us to deliver innovative, sustainable and smart solutions to customers around the world.www.Averydennison.ComDescripción del empleoThis leader will build relationships with the leaders in Latam to keep a pulse on the people relations environment, and make recommendations on programs, training and other interventions as needed.Maintain positive union relations and agreements to ensure a winning climate with the union employees to facilitate the accomplishment of the plant operation metrics.Participates in negotiations and ensures compliance with agreements reached with unions, guaranteeing fair and equitable working conditions.Provides guidance to management and employees on labor laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance with current legislation.Leads and develops workforce support specialists. Ensures strong performance and capability within the team. Gives timely coaching and feedback.This role will manage the team's overall objectives, workload, training, hiring and development. They will be actively engaged in understanding the team's portfolio of work, and will engage directly in higher complexity cases.The workforce support leader works closely with the other tier teams in GWO to ensure that employee inquiries and issues are resolved in a timely, friendly and comprehensive way.Partners closely with the HRBP for the region, ensuring critical information is shared in order to create the best possible employee relations and talent strategies.Uses data to maintain, develop, recommend, implement and improve workforce support objectives, policies, and procedures.Becomes an expert and an advocate for digital process redesign and using technology to improve both HR and employee experience. Thoroughly understands the HR toolset and how to maximize the value and effectiveness in our Workforce Support processes.Communicates directly with employees regularly regarding escalated/elevated workforce support concerns. Support workforce supports specialists in elevated/difficult situations and provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues.Maintains working knowledge of changing labor dynamics and laws. Directly partners with legal on matters requiring consultation.Assists managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics.Ensures compliance with human resource policies and procedures within the team.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequisitosSkills & CapabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be an excellent teammate to other workforce support leaders, HRBP's and COE's as well as key cross functional teams
