JOB SUMMARY:
Your technical expertise and guidance will be instrumental in conducting tests, analyzing results, and validating product performance and reliability. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and efficiency.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design of networks as part of a multi-disciplinary project
- Design of wireless networks
- Elicitation of requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits
- The design of the solution and or elements to meet the needs of the Customer and operational requirements
- Supporting the production of technical proposals and tenders
- Support design provisions such as Power, Cooling and redundancy requirements
EDUCATION:
Electronics Technician
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of test equipment within the electronics manufacturing industry
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge in ICT Keysight, BPM (IC Programming).
- Knowledge in Test Expert and BT-Basic preferred.
- Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, soldering and component level testing.
- Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, voltage sources, and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of ICT test design frameworks covers analog, functional, digital, BScan, and related test specifications.
- Schematic analysis.
- Skills in failure analysis and problem resolution.
SOFT COMPETENCES
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results within established deadlines.

HARD COMPETENCES
- Gerber Viewer, (CAD) files and PC knowledge required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as BT-BASIC, Visual-Basic, Python, or C++ and related development toolsets preferred to develop automated testing solutions.
