Import Export Assistant (Hermetic Motor)

Description The Import/Export Assistant will provide support to the Import/Export Administrator and assist with the preparation of import and export documents in compliance with customs and government regulations.Responsibilities Prepares documents arms to move goods efficiently through import and export steps and procedures.Reviews paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and custoes are billed correctly.Maintains a database that tracks merchandise.Processes claims on merchandise shortages and overages.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements Bachelors degree in Trade Compliance and Customs Bilingual (English/Spanish) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.At least one year of Importante empresa in a customs warehouse or similar setting required.Prior Importante empresa preparing customs and shipping documents preferred
