What do you get to do in this position? We are seeking an Industrialization Costing Leader to join the H&D Industrialization team in North America. This role is crucial in tracking and managing product costs for new product development projects, ensuring alignment between different entities, and driving cost initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and control product costs throughout the lifecycle of new product development projects.Coordinate cost reduction ideas and track changes in products cost.Work with specialists on estimating cost on new products ideas.Ensure alignment between local and global product cost methodologies.Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, procurement, and manufacturing teams to drive decisions around product cost.Calculate and forecast costs for future years.Use statistical tools to analyze cost metrics and assess risks.Monitor and report out any cost variance due to internal or external factors.Identify gaps for improvement and optimizations in design and manufacturing process, and animate cost reduction workshops when needed.Perform analysis and Function Cost Pareto's for the new products.Benchmark internal and competitors' products.Qualifications: We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
