Person in charge will be responsible of managing Latin-American and Israel product marketing strategy. Is required to analyze and understand deeply the markets, to stablish the correct product strategy, price positioning and incentives strategy, according to the competitiveness and profitability required for each model and each country.
The Jr. Manager will propose, present and negotiate the pricing and incentives strategy among Investors (Importers) and internal responsible functions (Local, Regional and Global). Once approved, will require deploying the tactical actions on time to achieve business objectives: profitability, sales volume, competitiveness, market share, etc.
In addition, the Jr. Manager will coordinate with key stakeholders the new product launches, elaborate lifecycle plan, launch & communication briefs, POP materials.
Another key activity is to support strategic planning processes such as Mid-term Business Plan and Annual Business Plan.
This person is responsible to present on a bi-weekly basis to top management the performance and results of department activities in charge.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Track and secure main KPIs over a monthly basis (profitability, sales volume, incentives, competitiveness, market share)
Constant communication with Importers to know market issues and opportunities
Secure the deployment on time of commercial offer and pricing launches
Follow up monthly plan (car flow) and Annual Business plan objectives
Monitor through sales team dealer/central inventories and invoicing
Constant communication with company key stakeholders such as PMO, Finance, Sales, Product Planning, Marcom, Aftersales
Coordinate and consolidate key market information prepared by dealer/importer (competitors, prices, competitiveness, commercial offer)
Cost-Break-Down, price analysis
Coordinate product launches and align activities with all the functions and key stakeholders and share progress to Top Management
Support strategic planning processes Mid-term Business Plan
Establish milestones to ensure objective accomplishment on a timely manner
**Education/Certifications**:
Engineering / Marketing / Administration & Finance
Previous Work Experience
It is highly recommended and preferable to have 3 to 5 years of experience within marketing/pricing/product planning functions. Background in the Automotive Industry is desired
If non-automotive industry background, Manager background it is also desirable
Experience managing small teams is necessary
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Price and market analysis, price positioning, being able to negotiate with investors (owners)
Being able to present and negotiate with Top Management in either Mexico, USA or Japan
