**Information Security Analyst**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor computer networks for security issues.
- Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
- Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
- Stay current on IT security trends and news.
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.
- Correctly use and maintain personal protective equipment in good condition in accordance with the instructions received by EagleBurgmann, immediately informing the person responsible for its supply or maintenance of the loss, deterioration, expiration, or malfunction of these.
- Report dangerous conditions or situations to the immediate supervisor or to the internal organs for prevention in the work entity (prevention services, occupational health and safety committee, prevention delegates) so that timely actions can be taken.
- Participate in the occupational health campaigns that EagleBurgmann determines, as well as attend the periodic medical examinations that the Medical Service arranges.
- Ensure the correct disposal of the waste generated from its activities, in accordance with EagleBurgmann's instructions, so that it can be disposed of in the correct way.
- Participate actively in complying with the requirements of the Integrated Management System
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Alternative: Equivalent experience (> 5 years) in the information security field.
- Bonus: MBA in information systems.
- Life experience in information security or related field for at least 3 years.
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to support the patching environment in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
- Work as part of an international team through multiple time zones and culture backgrounds
