We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Card Technology team in Mexico City. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will focus on backend development and contribute to building a big data platform that supports our card business.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support big data platforms.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and participate in internal & external technology communities.Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.Utilize programming languages like Scala, Java, and Python.Requirements:Intermediate-Advanced English fluencyBachelor's Degree At least 2 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, or Python2 + years of big data experience2+ years of experience in Agile practices1+ years of experience with Data Bricks/Snowflake, AWS and Spark StreamingThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
