Job Summary:
Will be responsibr performing a complete inspection on a variety of purchased, manufactured or warranty claims materials, hardware, electrical components, major electro-mechanical assemblies and circuit card assemblies to determine if drawing / specification requirements are met. The Engineer will utilize inspection tools, procedures, methods and check-off lisr the complete inspection of the aforementioned items.
Essential Duties/Confidencial Responsibilities
Performs inspections of purchased parts nished company products according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
Conduct all Inspections and generate appropriate reporr QA and Purchasing.
Utilize blueprint requirements and/or purchase order requirements to approve parr production.
Provide accurate and complete documentation (including photos) to support work.
Ensures work is in compliance with ISO procedures and work instructions.
Gives assistance to production personnel relative to the inspection process as required.
May be required to make minor repairs or adjustments or turn equipment in at the Metrology Lr calibration, cleaning or repair.
Sets production and/or other gagr own use or use by other employees.
Performs any and all tasks associated with the Materials Dispositionárea, as required.
Performs any and all tasks associated with warranty process, as required.
Visually, mechanically, electrically, or dimensionally inspect production material and completed produr defects. Notifies supervisor of non-conforming material or product and as required screens non-conforming material.
Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.
Ability to count and measure parts and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering Bachelors Degree or with at least () years of relevant Importante empresa in production planning, manufacturing &.
- Must read, write and speak English.
- Must have knowledge of shop mathematics, algebra and geometry.
- Skilled in the operation of a personal computer to research inspection documents and record inspection results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Excel - preferred
- Must read and interpret engineering drawings both conventional coordinate systems and geometric dimensional tolerance drawings.
- Must be able to convert between metric and empirical measurement systems.
- Must pass inspection test.
- Ability to carry out instructiornished in written or verbrm.
