This plan must be optimized across various constraints and priorities of Global Operations, Business Units, Corporate Strategy, and Finance. To do this, you will directly interact with Micron global team members at various levels of the organization inside and outside of the Supply Chain. You will also support transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and activities, and create and drive improvement to overall process efficiency and effectiveness.Responsibilities and TasksPublish 3-year manufacturing plan, shipment plan, scenario sellable supply, and inventory plansHighlight and drive resolution to planning issues associated with compiling the OPS Plan including: excess and shortage to projected inventory targets; gaps between roadmap strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demands;Partner with Global Operations and Corporate strategy to develop factory network and loading strategiesRoot cause gaps between supply capability and bottoms up supply/demand matchCreate, solve, and communicate internally impacts of various what-if scenarios for executive approvalLead weekly, monthly, quarterly reviews of the OPS planCollaborate with Finance to analyze consolidated revenue, margin, and capex impacts of plan changesRepresent SC in discussions with internal stakeholders regarding consolidating 3-year Business Plans and studiesDrive improvement to process effectiveness and efficiency metricsCollaborate with GSM, Manufacturing, R and D, Product engineering teams to collect and analyze impact of yield, quality, technology adjustments, and roadmap changesIdentify process inefficiencies/conflicts, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement efforts to address the gapsCollaborate with Demand Management and BUs to understand demand priorities and shaping, risks and opportunities, and business impactsUnderstand the interaction of Supply Chain technology solutions associated applications used within Micron and collaborate with partners in Supply Chain and IT drive technology improvementsPartner with solutions and master data teams to develop and implement system and process control methods.EducationBachelors Degree - Engineering - IndustrialBachelors Degree - Engineering - ElectricalMasters Degree - Master's Business AdministrationMasters Degree - Master's FinanceExperience3+ years relevant experienceQualificationsExcellent facilitation and issue resolution skills; ability to drive consensusAbility to effectively prioritize work and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goalsExcellent communication and analytical skills driven by a logical thought processAbility to participate as a team-member as well as leader in a fast paced, global team-oriented environmentDemonstrated ability to efficiently collect customer requirements; leverage appropriate data sources to organize, report, and analyze data; and provide recommendations based on analysesAbility to use systematic problem analysis /decision analysis tools to improve processes.
