POSITION OBJECTIVE:Ingredion - Sales Trainee program is an exceptional opportunity for young professionals who aspire to develop their leadership skills and build a successful career in the global business world.The Intern Specialty Sales will work in any business function allocated to them as per company need, working along with the sales manager and account managers to achieve different objectives.KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBIITIES:- Analyze category data and provide insights to key stakeholders, including account budgets, pricing input, and improving cost effectiveness.- Support in the development of strategic plans to meet budget for profit for the category (net sales and margin contribution) and volume objectives as part of the overall sales plan.- Ensure compliance with all work processes in accordance with Ingredion's safety policies, procedures, and culture, including but not limited customer on-site visits.- Support along with the Account Manager/Sales Manager on Key Account negotiations in a collaborative, productive manner to ensure regional buy-in and overall success to the global business.- Coordinate and lead cross-functional team efforts, in a collaborative, highly communicative manner to ensure account awareness, market knowledge and achievement of account/business profit and volume objectives.- Advise appropriate Ingredion departments (e.G.
