Oversees the analysis and disposition of excess inventory and develops policy for reducing and controlling inventory._What a typical day looks like:- _Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations, and managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation._- _Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, business unit managers and warehouse managers._- _Analyzes various data extracted from the MRP system._- _Reviews and establishes the policies and procedures for the site with materials group._- _Designs, develops and enhances metrics in response to site or corporate requirements._- _Responsible for accurate controls and procedures to be in place to properly implement cycle count operations and physical inventories_- _Responsible for disposition of excess and obsolete materials._- _Inter-site materials analysis and assessment of data._- _May analyze and correct inventory count discrepancies._- _Analyzes excess inventory and negotiates with customer to reduce excess and obsolete material._- _Negotiates sales price and coordinates the sale of excess material._- _Reviews inventory portion of customer contracts._The experience we're looking to add to our team:- _BA/BS or equivalent work experience_- _Sr. experience as a inventory control manager_- _MRP_- _Experience with inventories and metrics_Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain
