The primary challenge and demand for this position is to have all information systems up and running in a secure network environment, keeping them up to date and ensuring timely access to end users based on authorization levels defined by the company.
This position is critical for the daily operations of all Gates facilities. A critical failure in some of the IT systems must be addressed and resolved as soon as possible, otherwise this can affect important business processes which in turn may affect Gates' customer requirements.
**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- Keep all IT systems up and running
- Incident log and track resolution
- Attend and resolve new IT requirements
- Make and document changes
- Keep up to date hardware and software inventories; follow up to warranties
- Follow IT procedures and policies, keeping them up to date
- Ensure network performance and availability
- Design and promote improvements aim to improve end users' daily operations.
- Align to corporate IT standards and strategies.

- Saving Incentive: 13% of the base salary paid in monthly basis.

- Strong desire to develop a professional career within IT
- 2 to 4 years of experience supporting IT infrastructure technologies and administrative activities
- Bachelor's degree in systems Engineers, Computer Sytems, or related career
- Basic
- Intermediate English Level
- Excel basic level
- Basic knowledge in Cisco networks (switching, routing, wireless, IP telephony)
- Basic knowledge in Windows Server operating systems
- Basic knowledge in information security
- Basic knowledge in collaboration tools (Outlook, Jabber, Webex)
