As a Control Engineer working the night shift in our factory, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our control systems and processes. Your primary focus will be on monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the manufacturing processes to ensure their efficiency and reliability. You will also handle basic IT-related tasks to support the overall operation of the factory during the night shift.
**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:
- ** Network Management**:
Administer and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability. Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions promptly.
- ** LAN/Wi-Fi Administration**:
Manage local area networks (LANs) and Wi-Fi networks to support seamless connectivity across the facility.
- ** Server and Storage Management**:
Oversee Dell and Wintel server and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve server/storage-related issues.
- ** Database Systems**:
Manage MS SQL database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Perform regular backups and ensure data security.
- ** IT Service Delivery**:
Provide top-notch IT support for manufacturing equipment, addressing hardware and software issues promptly. Collaborate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- ** Cisco Industrial Network**:
Utilize Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist Certification to maintain and enhance network infrastructure's industrial reliability and performance.
- ** PLC and IPC**:
- ** Shift Work**:
Be available for night and weekend shifts as needed to ensure continuous 24/7 support.
- ** Wonderware Aveva SCADA Systems**:
Familiarity with Wonderware Aveva SCADA systems and understanding of OPC UA/DA Server operations.
