Job Overview TE Connectivity's IT Operations Teams support hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. They monitor batch schedules and take actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations and manage tape backups, including physical tape handling; coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. TE's IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.
What your background should look like: Responsibilities and authority: Developer and support for Digital Tools for Data analytics into production process. Deliver projects on time and to the expected level of quality. Report on project activities, findings, results, quantify and report savings of digital tools implementation. Support the customer (Operations) care organization on tactical activities as required. Monitor and take actions as necessary in response to problems or abnormal program terminations and manage local databases dedicated with information obtained for different production processes and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems on digital tools issues. Provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer (Operations) to appropriate technical personnel, develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and equipment installations. Authority to stop a process in which there is the possibility of harming the environment or/and that is outside environmental legal compliance. Carry out actions to reduce environmental impact, as well as activities for compliance with the ISO14001 standard. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, IT Engineering or related fields. +1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Location: Hermosillo, Sonora, MX.
