**remote position****ABOUT THIS ROLE****WHAT YOU' WILL DO**:This role your key responsibilities will be:- Modify and enhance existing software to add or change features, while constantly improving the codebase.- Participate in the estimation of work to be done as part of an overall agile process.**WHO YOU ARE**Minimum Qualifications:- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/training- Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:- J2EE technologies: Java 8, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC, EJB- Web Servers: Tomcat, Websphere- Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML)- Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot- Build/deployment tools: Maven, Git, Junit, Mockito- Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub and- Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles- Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM- Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment- Fluent and professional in English, through written and verbal communicationsDesire Qualifications:- 2+ years of Kubernetes Services with deep understanding of Container Orchestration and Distributed System Concepts- Airline Industry experience- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience- Cloud-based development: Kubernetes and Docker- Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Azure DevOps Azure Data explorer, Elastic Search- Other: Linux/Unix shell Scripting, Rabbit MQ, Redis, cucumber- Experience with TDD and BDD development patternJoining DXC connects you to brilliant people who embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.
