Role and Responsibilities The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's technological infrastructure. This position involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. The IT Support Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, providing user training, and contributing to the overall improvement of IT processes. Responsibilities include: If necessary, administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.Provide support and guidance of all Office 365 features and functionality (Microsoft Exchange, Teams, Office 365 Groups, Planner, PowerApps, etc.) Analyze, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions using Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD/Active DirectoryProvide support of user endpoints including laptops, desktops, and mobile devicesMaintain inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.Conduct user training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency with IT systems and applications.Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles for internal reference.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements and innovative solutions. Preferred Experience 1-2 years proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of IT fundamentals. Required Qualification & Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.Familiarity with system administration concepts and user administration toolsStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
