The Junior Buyer will assist in sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of products and materials for the company. The role involves collaborating with the procurement team, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices. **The position has a monthly salary offer between 25,000MXN and 28,000MXN per month depending on experience**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Research and Product Selection**:
- Assist in researching and identifying quality products and materials in line with business needs.
- Support in maintaining and updating the database of potential suppliers.
- ** Supplier Relationship Management**:
- Collaborate with senior buyers in building and maintaining relationships with global suppliers.
- Assist in negotiating prices, quantities, and delivery timescales with suppliers.
- ** Price Benchmarking and Analysis**:
- Support in collecting and analyzing quotes from vendors.
- Conduct price benchmarking activities under the guidance of senior team members.
- ** Quotation Management**:
- Assist in submitting quotes to internal client teams after thorough analysis and recommendations.
- Ensure that all necessary information is accurately inputted into the company's systems or tools.
- ** Purchase Order Management**:
- Help in raising and processing Purchase Orders (POs) as required.
- Ensure that suppliers receive POs and follow up to secure sign-offs.
- ** Sample and Tooling Management**:
- Coordinate the request and management of samples, documenting feedback for stakeholders.
- Monitor the tooling process, ensuring that production aligns with agreed specifications.
- ** Order and Production Monitoring**:
- Work closely with the supply chain team to track orders and manage delivery schedules.
- Assist in ensuring that production is on track for on-time and in-full delivery.
- ** Quality Assurance and Logistics Coordination**:
- Support in booking and managing quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Assist in arranging the transport of goods, coordinating with the supply chain for tracking and delivery.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement software.
