**About the Role**:
**The primary purpose of this position is to support Magna's energy efficiency and reduction strategy to achieve our publicly announced decarbonization goals of NET Zero by 2050.**
**Your Responsibilities**:
- ** Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to gain valuable insights from various data sources related to energy consumption, carbon emissions and operational and infrastructure energy efficiency.**:
- ** Identifying opportunities: Collaborate with cross-functional Energy & Sustainability teams to identify energy and CO2 reduction ( Scope 1 & 2) opportunities based on data analysis results. Propose innovative solutions and quantify potential savings.**:
- ** Performance monitoring: Definition of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the projects implemented and progress. Continuous monitoring and reporting of project results and making recommendations for improvement.**:
- ** Research and innovation: keep up to date with industry trends, new technologies and best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.**:
- ** Work with and support LATAM energy teams and divisions to identify energy and CO2 reduction Scope 1 & 2 opportunities based on data analytics results and best practices from success stories.**
**Who we are looking for**:
- Experience developing strategies, their respective targets, and the roadmap to success
- Comfortable working with Energy & Sustainability Team/Champions and senior leadership
- A technically oriented person who thrives on creating data-driven solutions
- Ability to turn ideas and visions into new ways of making energy efficiency possible in reality
- Experience in manufacturing energy reduction projects
- Fluent in Spanish and English
**Your preferred qualifications**:
- Education in relevant areas such as energy, science, data analytics, sustainability
- 1+ years of experience in Energy, Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Data analytics or a similar field
