.**Job Summary**:The **Information Systems Project Manager,** under direct supervision of a Program Manager, manages up to medium-sized projects or phase(s) of a larger project.The **Information Systems Project Manager** is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of the organization's strategic projects within the planned timeframe and scope.This position requires a combination of technical proficiency, proven project management skills, strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the automotive finance industry.**Responsibilities**:- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks such as detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders.- Work with the Information Systems Manager, Program Manager and stakeholders to ensure project goals are in line with business objectives.- Conduct kick-off to start the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.- Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.- Manages changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs.- Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. This includes all organization business and external vendor activities as well.- Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the organization.- Ensure that project goals are achieved.- Typically manages one or more projects that have:- have a team size of up to 10 members- are a duration from 6 to 12 months- a moderately aggressive timeline- a medium risk level assessment- an enterprise span of impact to an organization- includes many interfaces- 1 -5 functional Disciplines / Stakeholders- use existing means (tools, technology) to achieve goals with modified levels of innovation- Utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies- Routinely communicate up to Sr Manager and regionally regarding the status of specific projects- Drive project team to foresee risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, continuously assess and implement mitigations in order to minimize the impact of risks on the project.- Review project proposals or plans to develop a time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and the assignment of available departmental resources to various project phases**Job Knowledge and Skills**:- Language: English (Advanced)- Must have:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.- Nice have:- Prior experience in the automotive or financial services industry is a plus
