Laboratory Associate

**Visión general**:
Responsible for carrying out laboratory-level tests on new materials in order to determine the possibility of incorporating it into our formulations of slip, base glaze and or antimicrobial glaze.
Perform other characterization techniques such as particle size distribution, Surface area, thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry.
**Responsabilidades**:
Preparation of tests.
Analysis of materials.
Perform slip and glaze tests at laboratory level, recording results.
Analysis, data management and interpretation of results for the preparation of technical reports.
Protect the information of the different tests that are carried out in the laboratory.
Verify the proper functioning of the laboratory equipment and design manual of procedures, failures and solutions.
Maintenance and needs assessment of laboratory equipment.
Perform the management to request material or equipment necessary to perform and validate test.
**Requisitios**:
Education - Chemical Engineering or related

Experience 1-3 years experience in a similar position.
Knowledge in quality control testing of materials, research and development laboratory, operation and maintenance specialized

Equipment in the ceramic area, elaboration of technical reports

Knowledge in internal audits, and knowledge in Excel, and Power Point.
Desirable Minitab
