The Program Quality leader role is to support Automotive IT Core team in the development of new products for Premium OEMs.
The main responsabilities are:
- Establish and maintain successful Customer relationship on Quality matters
- Responsible for quality of delivered products and services to the Customer
- Initiate and monitor the Program Risk Assessment through FMEA methodology.
- Ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Implement the quality management plan and ensure a regular follow-up to achieve these quality objectives throughout the program phases
- Work with ASQ to cascade these quality objectives to the internal and external suppliers
- Lead the development and production process for measurement, checking and testing fixtures and gauges (MSA studies, Capabilities, Gage R&R)
- In a collaboration with Program Development Leader and Industrial Program Engineer (at minimum) develops the required APQP elements of Special Characteristics, D/P-FMEA, and control plan until PPAP
- Is responsible for conformity, perceived quality and traceability of any parts delivered to the customer for prototype phase, first off tool, and preproduction
- Prepare the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) files for submission of the initial samples, including customer process audit
- Report as needed the progress of his activity to Program Manager and TCS Director
- Ensure the use of the appropriate methods and quality standards (PMS, specific Customer program development system, international regulations, etc)
- Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
- Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site
