As a Lead Game Programmer at KWS Mexico City, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our development projects. You will build a team and lead these talented engineers, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality code. You will also collaborate with the studio head to develop business leads and contribute to the studio's growth plans.Responsibilities:Technical Leadership:Define and maintain technical standards and best practices.Collaborate with game designers and producers to ensure technical feasibility.Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.Identify and mitigate risks.Should be competent presenting technical information to a range of audiences including non-technical audiences.Team Management:Takes an active role in the hiring process with the business and recruitment team for the creation and development of the Game Dev team.Leads a team working on significant and critical projects.
