Job Description - Lean Performance Director (0093ZW)
Schneider Electric has an opening for a SC Performance Director to lead our MTS/MTO operations in Mexico. As the SC Performance Cluster Leader, you'll be responsible for optimization of physical & information flows, surface, lead time, direct labor and equipment efficiency through leading and coaching lean diagnoses of the end-to-end supply chain.

Challenge Performance Across all SC DomainsIdentify & quantify potential stakes existing on global performanceLead/Support Layout design, plan for material storage facility (i.e. different types of line architecture, racking systems, queues, bins, etc.)Support to Implement Industry best practices like Visual management, WMS (Warehouse Management System), KANBAN, etc.Support with Safety (zero accidents ..), CS&Q (process robustness), SC Deployment (LTIP), HR (Competencies …)Collaborate to create shared improvement roadmap with Plants/DCs to achieve targetsParticipate to the decision-making process for all investments (new product introduction, capacity, kaizen, etc.)Challenge & support the entities to co-deliver targets (i.e. DLP, lead-time, organizational efficiency, internal process capacity & on-time delivery)Deliver Innovative BreakthroughsPrecisely capture the needs and participate in the search for solutionLead proof of concept projects before proceeding to validation for deploymentAnticipate new technologies & methodologies & their associated skill requirementsStandardize and Deploy for Exemplary ResultsSupport the animation of the SPS at entity level to become part of their DNAContribute to the continuous improvement of the SPSDesign, evolve, deploy & manage standards, methodologies and tools, exploiting the good2Great process through leveraging the network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)Train & Coach for SustainabilityManage the competency referential for Operations Management, Methods & Maintenance & Supply Chain Performance functionsCo-assess current competencies vs referential to identify gaps and support local action plan creationTransfer the necessary skills through 'training whilst doing' to grow and sustain competenciesDeliver a constant flow of talent being the principle contributor to the potential key position holder pool; detect, attract, develop & prepare talent for the future through robust 3E managementContribute to build, with GSC academy, an efficient training offer & where necessary deliver the training ensuring a consistently high level of knowledge transferThis job might be for you if: Possess Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar discipline.Possess greater than 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentPossess excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and influence and convince skillsFamiliarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertiseStrong working knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and lean manufacturing.Minimum 2 years focused on lean manufacturing, certified Lean Expert, experience leading SPS assessments is preferredAdvanced EnglishSchneider Electric offers a robust benefits package to support our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, a culture of wellness, and more great benefits above and beyond a typical employer.
