Here, you can do the work that matters.**JOB PURPOSE**:A Lean Supervisor is expected to function as specialist to provide expertise and leads projects using lean manufacturing tools and methodologies, coaching, teaching and developing others to use them. Giving support to eliminate waste in every process and drives the organization towards standard works definition and implementation. Actively acts as a change agent, while coordinating the work of people from different departments or areas.**JOB RELATED STATISTICS**:Lead Lean Transformation (VSM, RIW, Kaizen Events, Fix What Bugs you Events, 2 Second Lean).Strategy development and drive change management Lean Culture.Supervise at least 4 employees.**JOB DUTIES**:- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.- Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders. Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement.- Report on progress of projects and initiatives and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities.- Manage and execute capital projects expedited by findings in safety audits and by the area´s continuous improvement.**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:- Engineering or University degree- Minimum of 4-6 year of manufacturing engineering-related experience- Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills- Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers- Experience with Lean projects is preferrable- Written and verbal communication and presentation skills- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders- Facilitate delivery and compliance with the Lean strategy- Advanced English written and verbal communication**The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
