Legal Assistant

**Responsibilities**:- Draft, analyze, interpret and negotiate a variety of agreements including letters of intent, NDAs, license agreements, easements, access agreements, leases, consents, waivers, purchase and sale agreements.- Keep detailed inventory of closing documents and review deliveries to flag open issues and alert attorneys to outstanding items- Assist in initial creation and formatting of financing documents for large, commercial transactions and make subsequent revisions as needed- Review, edit and finalize client bills and cover letters- Maintain calendar and appointments- Assists with overflow work and other special projects as assigned**Requirements**:- Opening, organizing, and maintaining files in an exceptional, efficient, and effective manner- Exceptional professional writing and communication skills when interacting with court staff, attorneys, paralegals, secretaries, and clients- 2+ years of legal secretary or related experience- Ability to communicate and handle stressful situations in a professional, calm, courteous manner- Excellent grammar, proofreading, transcription and organizational skills required- Proficient in MS Office with strong typing skills**Salary**: From $20,512.24 per month**Experience**:- Administrative: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English fluently (required)
