**Our Exciting Opportunity**:We are now looking for a Legal Counsel (Group Function Legal Affairs) to join a dynamic team providing legal solutions and services to Ericsson in the Latin America North & Caribbean region. We offer the opportunity to thrive in a stimulating international environment at the core of a fast-paced industry.**You will**:Provide legal counsel and implement business-oriented legal strategies for the companySupport the company's diverse streams of operation (Sales, HR, Taxes, Sourcing, Supply, Compliance, Security, etc).Draft, review and actively negotiate agreements and other legal documentsSupport the company's compliance with local and international laws, regulations and internal policies and directivesEffectively manage dispute resolution and legal risk**To be successful in the role you must have**:**_Education_**: Masters of Law; ideally but not necessarily, you will be authorized to practice law in Mexico.Years of experience: At least 5 years of proven record as a practicing lawyer. Experience as in-house counsel or in the telecom/technology sector are desirable. Familiarity with transnational business and multi-jurisdictional legal work or prior experience with other Latin American territories will be specially valued.**_Language_**: fluent in Spanish and English.**_Business Competence_**: we are looking for a lawyer with business acumen and a strong commercial edge, able to provide timely and effective legal advice to a diverse group of stakeholders.**_Analytical skills:_** Good legal analysis skills and capability to assess and administer risk are required.Experience or interest in telecommunications, IPR and data protection are a plus.**What´s in it for you?**Here at Ericsson, our culture is built on over a century of courageous decisions.
