Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**- Implement modifications on products in order to align the built as designed.- Support Troubleshooter if necessary**Key accountabilities**:- Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required)- Ensure use of valid/calibrated tools- Populate relevant modification follow-up data base and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site Manager- Ensure information flow within the field modification team (e.G. shift handover)- Perform quality self-inspection- Respect EHS rules (Environment Health & Safety rules) and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system -of-work is available.- Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modification- Ensure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modification**Performance measurements**:- Respect of timeframe for modification implementation- Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification- Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes- Achievement of contractual availability (milestone) targets- Completeness and Quality of FM implementation data recorded in data base- Availability of configuration update data- Audit results (internal and external)**Educational Requirements**- Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics)- Minimum IT knowledge- Internal EHS training**Desirable**:- Graduate in technical area (electrical/electronics)- Basic English**Experience**- Technical operational experience (electrical / electronic) (> 2 years for )- Field Experience (> 2 years )- Teamwork capacity- EHS knowledge and exposure- Self-government- FM Operator team management (of applicable)- Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience ( electrical / electronic)**Desirable**:- Railway Safety/Product liability- Technical Engineering knowledge- Customer contact- Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (electrical / electronic)Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
